The waggy hubs have to be flipped manually into the locked position, otherwise they freespool. This means that in freespool and 2wd, the hub spins on the spindle but the shafts, the gears, and the driveshaft will not spin.
Your TJ front axle utilizes a unitbearing currently, which is always engaged, meaning that the shafts, gears, and driveshaft will spin 100% of the time. If you switch to locking hubs you'll have to get out of the vehicle and turn the hubs to engage your 4x4.
You could always replace the waggy's locking hub with a drive slug, to eliminate this and put in a stronger setup. Lots of people like to keep hubs since they will be the weak point and are easily replaced. Your choice.
As mentioned above, you'll have a different lug pattern if you put in the waggy. Just keep that in mind.
