Front hub Ford 60 questions

1996 F350 dump truck has auto front hubs that won't engage at all.

Want to put manual hubs in it.

Is all I need the spindle nuts and hubs?

Spindle Nuts? You shouldn't have to mess with the bearings unless you want to pull it all apart to re-grease or change seals. All you should need is the manual hub kit. The stub shaft pokes right through the spindle and the manual hub attaches to that. You will have to pull a snap ring off to install the new manual hub part, but it gets re-installed on the outer groove after you slide the hub part in. See YouTube video below, the guy is fairly thorough but doesn't understand how that snap ring works and leaves it out mistakenly. It has to go back in to retain the stub shaft against the inner seal on the back side of the knuckle.

Even in the video that you posted, the guy is using new spindle nuts (about the 5:00 mark)
The video makes it clear for me though, it helped and I appreciate it.

Huh. I actually blew right by that part when I checked his video (didn't have 30 minutes to watch it all). I did not realize on the later trucks they had a different spindle nut. The ones I've worked on had nuts like he installed later. Thanks for pointing that out.
