hey all
well, i am starting a winter project and am going to keep yall informed but have some questions. I am going to stretch the front a couple inches and wonder whats the best way to do it.
l am looking into just cutting the frame behind the steering box. i am probly going to cut it, get a peice of 2x4 square tubing and weld it in to extend the frame. i am also going to do a shackle reversal at the same time.
all the things i see i am going to run into would be..
-the front body mount, i can just build another one on the frame extensions
-steering shaft would be to short, i could just cut it and weld in an extension peice
-i would need longer hoses for the steering box as well
i could not see anyother thing i would come across in this.
for the shackle reversal ill just put the spring hangers in front and make some shackle mounts in the rear. i don't see a problem with that.
any help would be awsome
thanks
