The j10 front axle I bought (Dana 44) the brake dust shield are crap, I searched the web can’t find one. Has anybody made a brake dust shield or have one laying around.

Does it play a part in the spacing between the knuckle and spindle? If not I wouldn’t even run them. Nothing lost at all. If they do then find a comparable thickness material, transfer the bolt pattern and make it a “spacer”. Done.

I know a lot of the outer parts interchange between the FSJ and GM D44s...My Chevy D44 has a 1 piece caliper mount/dust shield with a pretty thick shield. I know the Jeep and GM's use the same calipers..May be something to look into.

Ten four I’ll check into that mine had the brake bracket with the dust shield spot welded on but was rusted
