fuel return line with carb?

I am running a chevy 350 with a Holley 600 carb, and a Holley blue fuel pump with a fuel pressure regualtor. It has been running fine for a month, no flooding, etc, running great. Today, it starting having idling problems. If it idles for a long time it floods out. My question is, will a fuel return line help remedy this problem?
