Is it just me or do they hire fools that have never sat in an actual automobile before? It amazes me every time I take a chance and go to my local full service car wash that the fool that decides to jump behind the wheel to pull the car out of the wash is THE worst driver ever. You would think that after pulling the first 58 cars out or so that you would have the basics down.
Such as:

  • Not slamming my f'ing door so hard!
  • Stop screwing around with my seat-back.
  • Push the clutch in to start the motor.
  • The gas pedal doesn't need to be floored when hearing something crank up with more power than your F'ing Honda.
  • 6-speeds normally don't require 1st gear starts.
  • While pulling around to empty water from bed of truck, remember to push the clutch in again when you stop to tell your buddy "this thangs gotta bunch o'power mang!"; keeping the tires from spinning in place.

If anyone on here works in a car wash; please relay this information to your co-workers. And to those of you that work in a carwash and know how to drive a vehicle, roughly 20 feet, without incident...please teach others around you.

End rant.

yes, Sams...I didn't pay for it. You find me a trailer that costs $6.95 I'll spring for it. :fuck-you:

You must not care too much about your ride anyway taking it to an automatic carwash, so why should they? Harpers is only way to get your ride washed. They have a full service bar you can wait, drink beers and watch whatever sporting event that's on TV with every other cheeseball mofo in the triad.

Not true at all. I "have" to use them 3 to 4 times per week. My job frequently entails a 2 mile trip down a gravel road to a muddy job site, followed by picking up a few suits or other customers for lunches, meetings, etc. Not likely I am gonna run home and uncoil thee hose.

Autobell gets my business when near by, they actually do a decent job. They have broken off my antenna, a mirror and busted a fog light, but have paid for parts and dealership labor to replace all without hesitation.

And thats three broken parts in probably 200 washes, so its not like they are totally incompetent.

Actually they broke the antenna off the Yukpn and paid me $580, and all I ever listen to is XM so that was a profit.

West Innes "used" to be far better then East Innes. What would you expect, Salisbury is the asshole of North Carolina anyhow. :flipoff2:

You puss! Wash your own ride! :flipoff2:

You have to look at the guys washing/drying your cars. they are all 16 and I'm sure they care a lot about your truck. I know you would if you were 16.

And Harpers II is the only car wash I'll go to! :D

The guy powerbraking my truck at the wash was probably early 30's...not 16.

I did learn a lesson that day. I'll more than likely wash my own vehicle from now on. Although time and circumstance don't always permit such things to happen.

*I care about my truck and I like Salisbury.
