I am wanting to put these axles in my 88 yj. I have been told I need to retube the front axle. I have found someone to do this for me. What else do I need to know about this swap. I want to have everything I need before I start this.
(going soa) Thanks

The axles came from a 79 half ton pickup

If you aren't going high steer at least get a flat top and arm for the passenger side. Your drag link angle will be much better with it. Expect to build a track bar for the rear. Also make sure that you go SYE and if the fill plug for the rear axle is in the housing and not the third move it up so the piniom doesn't get starved for oil. If you can go shackle reversal at the same time you will enjoy it even more.

Forgot about the cast wedges, they were 77' axles. If you didn't go with the radius arm setup I would look for a housing before I retube it.
