Full width toy question

Workin on cburgins 82 in my garage. We realized this afternoon that somehow his drop hanger is 31.75 spring center to spring cetner. Obviously its supposed to be 31.5. It is centered, that means its 1/8 wide on both sides. Its IN there, so cutting it out would be a crappy last resort.

Will it be ok as is? He will be driving this to the trails. I guess they are basicly doing this \ /. But obviusly not at that extreme.

Should be okay. Bushings should take it up without too much issue.

1/8" off is nothing to be worried about...

Betcha someone forgot to account for the thickness of the plate when they made it.. Happens to the best of us..

yeah you cant even tell by looking at it. i will be driving it to the trails for now so it needs to be safe and stable

I've seen guys swap full width axle into early Broncos and not move the upper buckets or the lower arms. That causes the springs to bow about 3" on either side. None of them complained about any trouble. It seems a bit much for my taste. So not me, it looks to ghetto.

we are talking a 1/8 of an inch on each side. im more worried about it being safe then the way it looks
