I figure some of you guys might get a laugh out of this.
Back in the day when I was in high school, my buddy and I were riding our dirt bikes up north of Greensboro off of Yanceyville Rd, which was a popular spot. We stopped to take a break, and not too much later, we start to hear a motorcycle or two off in the distance. As time goes by, they continue to get closer, and it becomes apparent that one of them is EXTREMELY loud. Well, they finally come into view, and it is two guys racing each other. The one bike that was so loud, was an old late 70's or very early 80's Yamaha YZ, with a big hole in the exhaust pipe right near the motor. The guy was wearing swimming goggles, with no helmet, LOL! He had the throttle pinned, and his buddy was hot on his tail, lol. He had no back fender, and there was a big mud stripe up the back of his yellow and black checkered flannel shirt. I'm still getting a good laugh out of that day 20 yrs later, lol.
