I am trying to clean up a few circuits on my existing wiring under the hood.
My question is what vehicles came with an engine bay mounted fuse box (preferably the spade type but others ok)? I don't care if its American, a ricer or euro. I don't want to do a full re-do of the wiring at this time such as a Painless wiring harness.
I'll start:
1997 Toyota 4Runner, can't use that since its my wifes DD
Thanks. I appreciate any input.
Eric

Honda Accord, 90-93 I may have one if I can find it.

My other offering if you like that one is cordura rocker switches. Just finished wiring my in cab winch controls with a set of cordoras. Turned out bad@$$ and the switches are water resistant and nice quality.

What I did for my wiring is I used spade clips from an old fuse box and ran wires through my engine compartment fuse block empty spaces

I found a 6 fuse box with a main lug input at Advance auto for $7.97 part #15600620 works great. I have mine mounted to the firewall above the battery

I just picked up a 12 slot blade type fuse block out of a mid 90s Ford Taurus for $5 from the junkyard. I only plan on using 5 slots in the near term, more later.

Older Chrysler mini-van. 10 circuts and relays for the headlights. Last one I got was $8. at a yard. Easy to get to the back side of the terminals to run my own wires into the box.

What he said, and you can easily access the ford fuse box the same as the caravan. Also, behind the drivers headlight of a taurus is a relay you can grab. The 90's model caravan fuse/relay box is sweet, if you can find one.

Eric, I have a fuse center from a CAT backhoe you can have, I have cut the harness away from it, but left pigtails to the fuses for ease of connection, I'll see if I can get a pic of it tomorrow.
