Well I hope to catch up with the pic posting of my van build up..
Here is what I did this weekend, not complicated really, but just some fiddling around to get the shelf spacing to fit my junk. And the cool part is I can move/adjust them as needed. The shelf is bolted to the floor and secured by brackets to the roof supports.
Also note the black on the inside of the verticals and inside the shelfs.
Barley seen in the one pic is a shot of the L-Track (Logistic Track) Some cool shit.. Aluminum rail with special inserts for securing cargo. I wanted something sturdy but lo-profile so I wasn't tripping on it inside. Very happy with this stuff. I'll try to find a better pic of it.

recent trip to get my new yard toy...

80s cushman truckster - 18hp OMC twin, 3 speed w/ reverse, 2 speed rear, pto, hydraulic up/down dump. Got a spare motor and pile of parts.. Had to take some things off to fit in inside and to make room for the 52" flat panel we picked up along the way home in Delaware.. Strapped the spare engine on the back rack for a little extra HP :flipoff2:

I know the wheels are turning again...just imagine...a little tube work, a little more flex, twin engine drive...the possibilities
are endless....

Nope 'big plans' other than some rattle can paint. It's sorta rusty but not from salt, these things get tore up from the lawn chemicals and fertilizers that are put down and thats why some areas look bad, but the frame etc. is in good shape...

I plan to keep it a purely functional yard vehicle. I have some big long term yard projects that this will help with and ones I've previously done that I would have loved to had this around. I plan to make a small drag blade and lifting arm that uses the ram.

I need to move all my bushes away from the house 3' (new house syndrome), do some landscaping in the back yard. Need a new deck in the next 2-3 years.. Long list..

New seat frame for the seat swivel...

I ordered a seat swivel for the passenger seat. It was the sandwhich type that went between the seat slider and the base/frame. It was advertised at 1.5" tall so I figured it wouldn't be too bad. But I felt like I was hitting the ceiling sitting in the seat. Also when it swiveled it didn't leave any room next to the door, you basically had to open the passenger door just to spin it. I called the company and explained how they could offset the holes some so it would spin off center out and away from the door. But they must not want to make me a repeat customer...

Also I wished the seat it self was back further, as it goes so far into the dash when forward you can't possibly sit in the seat but doesn't go back far enough for me (5'9") to even extend my legs completly whens its all the way back...

SO.... I made a new frame for the seat. It offsets the seat base 2" inward and 4" rearward and is 2" lower overall to allow for the swivel to put the seat almost to normal height AS it should be..

Came out better then expected and I'm very pleased with it !!!

Also, forgot to add, now that the seat can slide back further, its much easier to enter via the passenger door without tripping on the seat or frame. This will be important during the hot or cold times when the heat or ac is running and opening the side door would let all the air in/out etc..

Some pics !!

Guess you liked the plasma when you visited, huh?

Sadly it was only in my possession for 1/2 a day. I was unable to convince Gavan that it would be much safer to leave it at my house for proper burn in. He mumbled something about hell freezing over.

So I'm still using my nice 25" tube tv at home, I figure it will last me about 6 more years... ROI baby !!

I was fine with it, but the wife may have had issues. It would have been a long walk from CH to WF, but it would have given her plenty of time to think about her options...
