My doors were done by "Custom Overhead Door" out of Raleigh.. Can't tell ya how much $ it was, but they're very well installed... I've used the supports for hanging a ton of parts to dry

I just replaced a worn out part on mine. Mine would just make a lot of noise but the door wouldn't go up. Is that was her's is doing?

I have the screw drive kind. The carriage that holds onto the big screw was stripped out. I ordered a new one from Genie for about $20.

I just replaced the old "California" style door on our garage.

There's three to four weeks lead time on ordering them from HD, and you can install it yourself, assuming you're not a damned idiot.

The price of the door will depend on the size, options, delivery cost, etc. An 8x7' door starts around $400-450 and goes up to $1200. Of course, bigger doors cost more. Our 8'x7' flush Clopay brand door from Home Cheapo cost me $600 or so. Installed it in an afternoon, taking our time. That's the third or fourth door that I've installed.

looked at it today, found out one of the springs that helps it up broke in half so going to have some one install both sides. and later get the door panels replaced

thanks for the help
