gas tank sealer / rust prevention

The gas tank on my bro's Mr2 is rusty on the inside. Its not too bad to cause leaks, but since we have the tank out, we might as well take care of it. Any reccomendations on a product to use to get rid of the rust?

Eastwood has this, but id like to get it locally.

Every motorcycle shop I've ever been into has a product called Creeme, it lines the inside of the tank.. you might need to use 2 of 'em for a car-sized tank tho.

about how much does it cost?

I think it was about $20 a kit. I dunno how far that'll go. Like Rich said, they're aimed more at motorcycle tanks, so you might need two for a car-sized tank.

That stuff works good I used it on a 3-wheeler tank several years back that had pin holes rusted in it.
