Gear and tire size

I know you are suppose to regear for bigger tires, but I was wondering how many people are running 3:55's and 32" or 33" tires? What are the problems that come along with doing this?
 
What engine and trans are you running? Is this in your XJ?
 
your probally gonna be good .. the most noticeable difference is gonna be on the road ... you will be fine in the woods
 
It will slow your acceleration some, and will limit your use of 5th gear. I had 3.55s in my 97 TJ 4.0/5-speed with 33's, and it was fine to drive around, but most noticeable was the need to downshift out of 5th gear on the highway on some hills. You'll just use 4th more often.
