Just done this today on 08 superduty 60. Seems pretty good to me. I know everyone has their own "tolerance " of good enough but just looking for little help for next time I do it. Thanks
(My observation is it could be a hair deeper?,..but will work)

Too shallow.
Add 3 thou and call it good
Assuming backlash is in spec.
Cool so I was right about could be a hair deeper..yeii I'm learning. Thank you

I can’t comment on the pattern, but I doubt the welds in those spider gears hold. Consider welding in a piece if 1/4 plate that is cut to a rectangle and fits between the gears.

oh it is on the other side, 3/8 plate that ties it all in. I leave one side open just in case future person wants to cut out the spiders. lol, I knew someone would say something on that, it doesn't look enough in pic

Jody,

Could you share what's telling you this ? Pattern a little too close to the outside edge of the teeth ?

Just trying to learn too, and TBH would have probably be happy with the setting he posted (assuming B/L was good).

Sure thing.
The uppermost part of the pattern is too close to the top of the tooth. It needs to come down marginally to be more centered. Based on experience, no more than 3 thousanths will move it to a more desireable location on the tooth. Any more than that and you would see a slight deep pattern. Evidence would be a straight line at the bottom of the pattern, near the base of the tooth.
A shallow or deep pattern will usually point to where they want to go.
In this case, @marty79 is close. But to hone his skills a bit, now is the time to take the extra 30 minutes and nail it.
