Hello everyone---------------We have a 89 toyota with 3.0 ---488 gears---- Wanting to put 529s in it----------- Will it make enough difference to be worth the trouble and MONEY? thanks David

It's be like having one lower gear, and loosing high gear. If you have lacked just a little umph, then you will enjoy it.

If you need more gear off-road, but are OK on-road, then do dual cases. Would run you probably $500 for the adapter and to get the driveshafts shortened and lengthened, and will give you a MUCH lower crawl gear on the trail, plus 2 low with the hubs locked. Dual cases is definetly the best bang for the buck on the trails.
