Have any of you run or are currently running General Grabber MT red letters on anything? Looking for a decent set of new tires that will be sufficient on my daily driver / part time crawler / part time hauler. The company I work for offers a hefty discount on these to the tune of $340 for a set of 4 35/12.5/15 and would like to know how well or bad any of you have had them perform.

I run them on my race rig. Best tire I have used hands down. Tough as nails. I can't say how they perform on the road because the jeeps never seen the pavement. I can say I have two seasons of racing and practice on them and they are still at 95% tread. Hope that helps a little. Now for the big question...... Can you get another set at that price? I would love another set.

Put me on the list too! I'll take some 38's for $400!

They are very heavy tires , which makes them very tough. I hear they only run 50k if your lucky. At that price I don't see the option lol

Two bfg at just cost me 420

Largest they come in is 35s and I wish I got a discount on BFG's... We're hiring with good pay and benefits and adding 40+ people by January. The Fletcher plant makes loaded brake calipers to the tune of 13 million plus calipers a year; we machine, plate, and assemble everything in house and all we require is stay away from the drugs, have a GED/hs diploma, and be felony free. Top out at $16/hr, 136 hrs vacation a year starting your first year and some pretty cool discounts... pm me if you are in the area and looking for a job.

I seen them used in the rocks/trail they done much better than I expected
These tires are very heavy and have a serious sidewall in them ..really thick rubber
Im looking at getting a set for my tow rig . But far as off road from what ive seen
Id say yes their a good all around tire ...and not so costly

Do yall have them in 35s for a 16in rim?

regular price with shipping is $1,273.56... if you work for Continental it would be $698.36 shipped. If you got them before September 23rd you would get a $70 rebate off of that bringing the total to $628.36... looking for a job?

Locally we have 3 plants, Fletcher NC - brake calipers, Morganton NC - Antilock Systems, and a new tire plant in Sumter SC. not sure if Morganton has any openings but the tire plant starts production early 2014 and is already recruiting, and our plant in Fletcher is expanding / hiring. Mechanics / Techs make good cheese...

50k is pretty good. I don't think the street tires on Cyd's DD lasted that long.

At "buy one, get three free" prices, I wouldn't worry about it.

Well the only reason I do worry about it is because I have a flatbed J10 that I crawl, haul, trailer, and dd. if they are particularly bad for any of these I would at least like to know in advance!

1. Drive it for 10k miles.
2. If you don't like them, sell them for $600/set.
3. Profit!

That is because you worked at Discount Tire and not for a company that actually makes the tires and sells them to Discount Tire who then sells them to their employees for more than what they paid for them.
