getting water out of trans and tcase

Any tricks on getting water out of a t-15 and Dana 20 ? He says he has changed the gear oil in both twice but its still light brown milkly looking . This is in a 74 Cj5 . thanks

Water mixed with 90w can be pretty sticky. He can take the stick out of the tranny and flush it with ATF, then with carb cleaner then let it drain for a day or so. Take the inspection plate off of the 20( I think it has one) and do the same.
If you have it up on jack stands you can also fill it full of a mix of kerosene and atf and rotate the axles to get it off of the gears a little better.
I'd check the diffs too, they may be full of water too
