Looking to swap in a GM 1 wire alternator into the Willy's to simplify the charging process. Motor is a 91 4.3L. Which ones should I look at/stay away from. I have a yellowtop, winch, and plan on adding additional rock lights in the future.

Running a PaP grade CS-144 (from an old GM mimi-van... like late 90s-04 Olds Silhouette/Pontiac Trans Sport/Lumina APV) that does pretty good :D

The 12si is easy, big brother to the 10si if I remember right and available in lots of different output ratings factory and can be had from about any 80s-90s gm.

This site had a lot of info when I was trying to pick out which alternator to put on my old car. Knowing what car application would have the plug oriented right was a big helper even though you can always reclock one.

I grabbed one of these for a dual battery winching setup and it has worked fine.
