Dumbassery has yielded a stiff pull the the right and, while driving straight, my steering wheel is now cocked to the right as well. Any favorites around town?

alignments arent rocket science. most anywhere should be able to do it. plus your bigger places like sears, ntb, just tires will have a warranty period in which you can come back and get it redone.

Yeah, it's not rocket surgery, but I've had bad experiences at quite a few different places.

I was directed to a place near 540.. They primarily do big truck stuff.. Can't remember the name off-hand. I think Lee would know it.

quit running into hills dumbass:flipoff2: don lee's over near where you used to live does my dad's 350's, the X should be the same. i've heard positive things about murrays also.

i hope they do better alignments than tire balancing. they came highly reccomended for large tires from lynn at 4 wheeling of raleigh, so i had them do a set of 40's for me 3-4 years ago. i payed a good chunk of change, and they were TERRIBLE. i could hardly drive the truck over 35-40mph. undid their balancing, threw in a bunch of bb's, and they were ten times better.

i complained, and was basically told tough luck, we can't stand behind our work with off road tires (after the shop jockey told me they'd ride like a cadillac:shaking: ). i called back again after my bb results, and was still told tough luck (with an attitude that time).

hopefully things have changed since then.

The mistake most shops make is actually using those machines to balance until it says Zero weight is needed....

Usually is you spin the tire and add weight wear it says and then do not add anymore it is correct.. but if you spin it again it will tell you it is off again.. so you wil never get it correct..
