I need to replace my living room stuff I am looking for somthing better than walmart cardboard but not looking for hierloom stuff either . I looked at garden ridge did not like there stuff. I have a nice tv stand that is the southwestern pine stuff and I would like more of that>

best bet would be highpoint but i dont know if you wanna go that far really

well if you want better then wal-mart i say find a place you wanna check out then call and get quotes.
there is so much competition, they probably do great deals is what ive always heard.

Me and my sister might head to someplace around thomasville that is sussposed to look like a dresser or somthing that Is rumored to have good deals

yeah they got one up in high point like that too, didnt go in but looks cool.

I got some almost new furniture that really doesn't fit in my new house. 2 china hutches made by Klaussner $200 ea, 1 large coffee table made by Lexington $250, 1 sofa table $150. I also have a large burgundy leather studded sectional with pillowback style cushions for $5000. It retails for over $10000 new but it really takes up too much space in my new living room. This is all quality stuff. No walmart crap. Let me know if you want any pictures.

yeah forgot another good place to go is nicer consignment shops, had a guy that started one in our building at work and would ONLY cary quality stuff for great prices. If you could find something like that, thatd be a good bet.

The furniture Market is going on right now in High Point. You won't get into the IHFC unless you're invited. BUT, many store will actually be open. Wait until next weekend to find more deals.

^^click me!^^
They usually have closeouts of nice stuff. I picked up an Ashley furniture leather recliner for $200.

I have some leather sectionals for 900-1000. Pics available. Great quality!!

id shop craigslist, or unfinished wood store, you can usually find, simple pieces and slap some stain/polly on it and be done... Never know it might just turn into an heirloom piece...

check out Goodwill in some of the nicer areas. My mother finds great deals all the time in the Lake Norman area. All those rich folk are always trying to keep up with their neighbors!

Besides, with all the furniture manufacturers in the area, they periodically donate NEW stuff to Habitat Home stores too.

We picked up a table & chairs that the guy bought new for ~$2000 for $500 off CL, and the whole set looked like new. Keep searching..

Wait until next weekend to find more deals.

Ditto! There will $50 million in "market samples" to be unloaded real soon... one of the last industries that understands "selling at a loss is better than no sell/paying to have it shipped BACK to the factory". Watch the papers for sample liquidation
