anyone know of a good gunsmith around raleigh that does machine work? i need a barrel shortened and threaded for a muzzlebrake/suppressor. i'm open to drive a bit if needed if they are located outside raleigh. thanks in advance

Normally gun talk is kept to the Garage section of this forum. You will need a paid subscription to go there.

ah, that is what i figured they meant. i plan on joining the site as soon as i purchase another 4x4 project and i'm on here more. it would be waste right now, i frequent another forum that's geared towards my current rig.

good news is, i've found a guy near clayton that is supposedly pretty good with machine work. it may be too far of a trek for you though. let me know if you'd like his #, i can PM it to you.
