Hey guys. Got a 1997 12V Cummins and I need to rebuild. Looking to o-ring, get the head and deck resurfaced, tappets re-ground, cam and crank resurfaced, and if neccessary, bore the cylinders. I'm located in Spring Lake and I'll drive around 2-3hrs if anyone knows of a good shop that can do all this?? Much appreciated guys!

There's a guy from up around north of Pittsboro that has a torque plate for honing one and is very knowledgeable about diesels in general. Pm me if you want his contact info. He's about the only guy around that has a home plate.

The shop power by poole uses has a hone plate. They just finished one for us less than a week ago. The reason we use power by poole is it gives me the opportunity to pick up and deliver when it's convenient for us and I know he can check it before pickup. No one that I've found picks up and delivers up this way. I want to say the name of the shop is Carolina machine.
