Looking to get some new spring perches to weld onto the isuzu d44 I'm getting. Going under an XJ and I can't remember the spring width. XJ is sitting at work so I can't go measure it (I'm thinking 2" but I don't know), if anyone has gotten some 44 perches that were relatively cheap please point me in a good direction.

x2 on Dan's stuff.

Good guy, I've been buying from him for years.

I made mine out of square stock once. Cheaper that way.

When I count my time and driving around to get material + material cost I don't think it'd be cheaper than $30...

If I already had the square stock though... and did it on the clock at work...hmmm. Might stroll down to the boneyard today and look for some stock. If I've got it I may as well drag the torches out and make some up. This is definitely project dirt cheap so I think I'll try making some first. Good idea, thanks.

Yea they have nice stuff.....I got some toyota ones from marlin and hit them with the grinder till they fit the tubes of my Dana60. I wouldn't have done this but a buddy had a set laying around that he wasn't going to use.

I made them extra long to help with axle wrap. Plus I got it on base at the metal shop on the way home from work. The shop is literally on the road I drive on to leave base so it took maybe 5 minutes and $3.00

Partsmike.com sells them for $15 a set. That's where I got mine from.
