Good Shop for electrical trouble shooting

Ok so my mothers van's brake lights are completly out, i had the codes ran on it and it said that it needed a new brake switch, so i replaced it. but that didnt do anything. So i replaced the brake lights and that also did nothing. So im thinking there is a short some where ot a bad ground either way i dont feel like chasing it down. So does anybody know a great shop around the concord/kannapolis area that can track down a problem like this and it not cost me an arm and a leg? I know you get what you pay for but...shes strapped for money these days, but arent we all.

hey this may be a stupid question but have you checked the fuses? you could call nelson at intense motorsports in charlotte hes a friend of mine and is very good at what he does but not sure what he charges these days
