Thurs we're hitting URE for the day. Since this could be my last visit for a long time, I'd like to hit most of the trails.
This got me thinking... is there a particular order/sequence/loop that works well for hitting all of the good spots (including challenges) in a day? As far as I udnerstand, we have most of the day to work with.
This is one of those topological math problems that some people really get off on....

what are ya taking the jeep or runner?

Probably the Runner. No AC in the Jeep, and afterwards I'm meeting the fam at the MIL's place.
XJ would be fun though... maybe somebody else would like to buy it and run with us... or take it on a trial run...

Here's my default...
start at the Daniel trailhead, if your gonna break, do it early. Hit the double parking lot, RML, left on Sawmill, right on Slab Pile, left on Wold Den to Dutch John. Then you hit a differnet section of SlabPile, repeat the end and Wolf Den to the end, take 516 to Falls Dam and hit Dickey Bell back to the double parking lot. I typed that while looking at Don Custer's map.

Me a few others are going out Thursday as well. We are meeting up at the outpost at 9:00. I know we will be hitting Daniel and RML probably first off if you wanta meet up. If were not going where you want to you can alway split off an do your own thing. Just thrown it out there...

I'll be stuck at the Mountain Market doing more inventory probably all day. Why don't you guys stop by and say hey? It'd be good putting faces with the screen names.

I'll see what I can do. I come down from theNorth so i don't pass it... but I'll be leaving via the South and will pass by so I have no excuse...
i think we're meeting up at 10. 9 is a little early since I have a hike to get there... I'm not so pretty in the AM.

Yeah 9 is pretty early but that is when Kelly wanted to meet up. I am driving from Durham so I have a hike too. What CB channel are you going to be riding on?

I'll try to stop by and say hey Corey or should I call you Nelson???

thanks for stopping by guys! hope ya'll enjoyed the food. wish i was there, but you know how that goes...:shaking:

HA! Yeah, we stopped by just to meet ya... and you weren't even there...sheesh...
But it was nice to see your place. DEfinitel ya small affair at the moment, but we could really see teh potential. Spent quite awhile talking w/ your folks about teh plans. sounds awesome. I think once the dine-in section gets up and going, things will really pick up.
The one thing you guys clearly have overt he outpost is nice friendly folks that aren't trying to squeeze customers for every last dime. And having free wi-fi is a nice bonus!

One suggestion - you really should get a nice big sign stating that it's OK to park trailers etc in the back. That will help out a lot.
