anyone have any experience with the adapters? Seen some negative stuff about them online about cracking the pin boxes and seen some good reviews just wanted to see what yall think

From what I've been told it adds a lot of stress to the frame of the camper. I see a lot of people in camp grounds using them but I wouldn't do it. They do make a replacement pin box that is a gooseneck that lippert will still honor the frame warranty with so I would think it is a better option. But at the price of a new pin box you could just get a companion hitch to go in the gooseneck hitch (if you have a b&w).

Yea I have a reese goose neck. I found convert a hitch they make a cushioned adapter supposed to take the stress out of the pin box. May try that and see how it goes from all the reviews on it seems good

Plus one on the companion. Borrowed just a adapter to get our 5er home, dad said he couldnt figure out why the truck was getting pushed around so much when he stopped. A lot of flex in the adapter and neck. So far no complaints from the companion. Kinda pricey, but cheaper than trashing a truck or camper

reese goosebox hands down the best option on the market.
i bought it for my new toy hauler and love it

What kind of toyhauler you get. We're looking at getting a new road warrior 390.
