So Friday night I get pulled in the Excurison. Here is the way it went...
cop: know why I pulled you?
me: no idea
cop: Yoour headlights were blinding me.
me: We just adjusted them and they are aimed with guidelines for an insepction
Cop: Your exhaust is loud also, are you sure it's leagal
me: Yes it has a muffler and the cats are still present(mean time he has taken my dl and run it and is walking around the truck looking at EVERYTHING)
Cop: Everything checks on your dl and tags, but I am going to write you a ticket for your headlights being cloudy.
Me: How can they be cloudy enough but still be bright enough to blind you?
Cop: Are you being smart with me
Me: no sir, but think it's a valdid question, totally oppisite of why you pulled me, Guess I will just ask my lawyer on Monday.
Cop: Who's your lawyer?
Me: Gave my lawyers name....
Cop: Well I guess you have a point
I had my son, GF and her 2 boys in the truck and was very nice to the officer. We were on the way to dinner and actually doing about 5 mph under the speed limit. He was a younger officer and I guess he thought I was a young punk in lifted truck.
I wish I had a camera when I asked him how they could be both too bright and too cloudy. He realized that he was way in the wrong..... Guess he was just bored????
