Got the crap scared out of me today.

Well I was driving home today and was in the middle turn lane waiting for a clear path so I could turn onto my street.

As I am sitting there with my arm hanging out the window I notice that man some of the cars coming at me are on the yellow line and are getting very close to my truck.. so I pull my arm inside and BAM a black Cadillac escalade hits my mirror with his mirror.

I cover my face with my arms as I hear this loud smashing noise. I was worried about glass or plastic hitting me. I then look at my mirror and it is still there, so I look in my rear view and see his drivers side mirror hanging from the electrical wire and he just keeps on driving..

after a little bit he slows down and pulls into the turn lane.

Once I get a clear path I pull onto my street get out and check and my mirror is 100% fine :) thanks dodge for making strong mirrors..

but man even though I sort of saw it coming it still scared me..

oh well glad my stuff is all fine..Bet that is gonna be an expensive fix for him..

Yeah, lucky you got that arm back inside.

I remember back when 421 was 2 lane. I was behind an 18 wheeler that swapped mirrors with a brick truck. Glass flew all over my windshield. Very spooky indeed.
 
I have those same mirrors on my CTD. Few years ago I collided mirrors with a friends wifes excursion on a narrow bridge. Hers was hanging by the wires($360) and mine had a crack in the glass($30:D)
 
Ken, I'm beginning to think your truck should be in a "Final Destination" movie or it's cursed! It seems to have quite a few things trying to take it out...
