government mandated time loan

Yay, we are back to standard time. Can we now get legislation going to keep this permanent? It is much easier to get up and going when it is getting light out, rather than leaving in the dark.

Down with daylight savings time.
I understand the getting up when it's starting to get light outside to an extent. Some people are getting up and going to work in the dark regardless of DST or not. My big thing is that I'm pretty sure 99% of people don't work outside in their yard/ shop/ driveway in the morning before they go to work. We come home after work and wind down piddling outside for a few hours until it's time to come inside. I don't think people would appreciate blowing leaves etc at 6am trying to make use of the daylight before work. To me, daylight in the evening is more useful than daylight in the morning before I'm going to work. Obviously YMMV.

Morning daylight is only useful to me on weekends.
And honestly one of those days I often want to sleep in.
