Grand Opening of hhgregg appliance in Hickory

I work for HHGregg in the appliances/electronics section of the store... I am part of the grand opening team there... We are gonna have some massive sells there... I will be there on Monday the 6th until Sunday the 12th... If you guys come on in and see me I will give you a nice discount :) (Oh I will be the only 6 8 salesman)

so what is the point of this place?

We've got a Circut City...and the King, Best Buy.....

so really, why even bother putting this RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET from best buy?! Its a death sentence.
 
you know wat would be good place to live between ashville and hickory.. as they will opening a store in ashville some time down the road and i would like to be in middle

A friend lives in those apts--not the newest ones but the other nice complex--and he pays ~$1200 a month for a 1 bd 1bath. Even with utilities that's a joke.

Are you looking for a house or apt? What price range?
 
I was down there on Sun. Nice place but they aren't done unpacking the store(I hope)

I am between Hickory and Asheville. Just on the Burke County line. 35 mins to Hickory, 45 mins to Asheville. What are you looking for in a place, City? Country? Pizza delivery? all depends. There are some decent places around.
 
Marion would be a good halfway point between Asheville & Hickory. If you're interested I can get you in touch with somebody with several rental houses/apts. in and around town.
 
yea... store is almost finished... we are going to be big on thursday for grand opening.... come and see me ill take care of you..

Some of the company logic is very similar to Lowe's logic.

Lowe's generally put their stores right beside a Home Depot. This thinking did the company very well in the last 10-15 years. They thought if you can't get it at HD, then come to Lowe's and get what you need.

Although a good strategy that has paid off, they are now moving to putting stores close to (beside) Wal-marts.
