Grand Waggy engine ??

Nice, might be aving to put 2 or 3 waggies together to get one good one.

Is it a TF727 or TH400? I can't tell. He says it has a 208 case, so I ASSume TF727?

From the torque converter and what I can see of the case it is a 727. The odds are very good that it is a 727 as that is what was used for auto's in '88 in GW's. If your 77 motor was used in front of an automatic in a Jeep it will most likely have a small spacer ring in the back of the crank to adapt the smaller converter snout of a TH400 to it. The 727 uses a bigger snout on the converter so this would have to be removed. Other than that it should bolt right in.
