i like the red hi tac high temp stuff for fast spinning or high heat parts and the green synthetic stuff for other stuff including electrical connections
this could be a good thread. I just use the cheap black stuff, got tubes of it for the grease gun and a tub for wheel bearings. I'm sure there's better options out there.
I think with wheel bearings if you have disk brakes you need to make sure you have bearing grease rated for disk brakes due to higher temps. I ran into this with my CJ when I rebuilt the front spindles.
