Passed through the Gatlinburg recently and saw Jeep rentals and such. One of the locals said you take the Jeeps into the Park. Does anyone know anything about a trail system in the Park?

There are a few twisty gravel roads, a couple are one-way (2, if still open) come off the cades cove loop road and leave the park. Some backroads on the east side of the park in NC, too...just long gravel roads, but scenic. Nothing a car/2wd couldn't do. Last time I was on Parsons Branch Rd (i think that's the name), high clearance helped a couple of spots, but nothing serious.

I took my 4 door tundra out the road near the churches in cades cove. Didnt need 4wheel and made all the switchbacks in one turn

theres coal creek ohv near there its in oliver springs i think. there are also humvee rides you can go on that takr u way back up in the woods but idn if anyone can do it.
