event was postponed from last week...according to their website, it's still a go for tomorrow night:

HOWEVER, nobody up there knows anything about it being for 4x4's...I talked to several people, including the "event manager" and nobody can answer any questions...

he took my name/number, and was going to try to find out and call me back...

so, if anybody in Greensboro actually KNOWS any details, post 'em up...


EDIT: got a call back while I was typing...whoever the guy called said it was for everybody, both the cars and 4x4's...but didn't have any other details...


we still thinking RTI, balance beams and tug-o-war?

I went in the '67 a few times last year and there were very few 4x4's out there. Mainly a meet and greet type setting for street cars as well as a burn out contest etc. But like i stated its been a good year since I've been and its good to see more trucks in attendence. Hell maybe I'll roll the HOTROD magazine camaro out for a drive out there.

Is this one of the "Berger Edition" camaros sold under the "Hotrod Magazine" name?? I have seen these before. Or is it a feature vehicle from Hotrod?

I imagine red with the black hockey stripe?

I am a camaro enthusiast as well with a few in my stable.... 69,76,77,97.

yeah...but this one show is "supposed" to be different...

There is a monthly Cruise in during the summer months at the Greensboro colliseum. This is mainly a hot rod type car show but on wendsday september the 13 there will be a 4x4 gathering also and we will have a ramp to test out suspention travel, a set of balance beams to test out your driving skills and we can do a back to back tug of war with 4x4s on a concrete pad. Bring out your 4x4s and show the other guys what real trucks are made of. The show will be 9/13/06 from 7:00-9:00 pm in the greensboro colliseum parking lot. that was the invite for the show last Wednesday that got postponed...

This is the Rallye Green with white stripes '69 drop top with #1 GM valadation ZL1. This was the lead car on the 2005 HOTROD Powertour and was on the cover of HOTROD Oct. '04 and DEC'05. I'll either be in that our the '06 IS 350 we are in process of building for S3 magazine, either way I'll see yall after while.

might be interesting. Jeeps still on the towtruck aired down and dirty from this past work weekend at URE.......like I care. I might get a wild hair and show up.
