Guess I'll post my WIP. *more pics 11/11/05*
I've got the cab on now and the majority of the wiring done. Now all I need is another free weekend.
Yes, those are stacks.
It's an 87 K5 chassis, 73 3/4 ton running gear, and now has an 85 C10 cab on it. Engine is a stock 350 with cheap headers. Tranny is a fully rebuilt TH-350 w/a reverse manual valve body. No vacuum leaks and no detent cable. I love it! T-case is the standard NP-205. The D44 that resides up front is stock, with the exception that I removed the Spicer hubs and replaced them with drive flanges. I'm waiting to find my D60. The rear is a generic 14b, but I welded the spider gears to the carrier as opposed to just the gears themselves. It's basically one big mass of metal now. Gearing is stock 4.10. Suspension is 4" springs up front, and a homebrew flip in the rear. I plan to put some 52" springs up front eventually and some 57" springs in the rear. Tires are 35" SSR's. They'll get bigger when I get my 60 front. Next thing to come though is finish the cage work to the interior and engine compartment, or I may just exo-cage it.
