I don't get what you're asking?  Yes.  It depends on your county Sheriff as to who does or does not get a handgun and concealed permit.  Burke county is fairly lenient and the penalty for dui is no pistol permits for five years after conviction.  CHP's are going to be at least for five years--if not forever.
