Went to see the Hank Williams (Sr.) show at the Temple Theater in Sanford. Everybody around has been saying what a great show it is...well, they are right.

If you like country at all (or not), you'll really enjoy this. Hank is one of the reason we have today's country music. He wrote over 400 songs before he died at 29.

No connection to the show, other than that I went tonight, and it's one of the best performances at the Temple I have been to. Runs thru the end of the month.

Its a traveling historical impersonation/re-enactment show.

Saw it in Anderson, SC a year or so ago.
They use instruments, and equipment consistent with the period, of course dress is historical and the songs.

BTW for all the folks that looked down their noses at the OP, if you had read his post (before he dies at age 29) or followed his link, you would have known that he did not think he saw the real Hyram...

One thing I liked about it was that he never said he was Hank. I've been to a couple of Elvis impersonator shows (not by choice) :) where a guy would get up on stage, say he IS elvis, sign autographs as Elvis, etc... that's lame.
