So, for the 19th year in a row, I have taken my CJ7 out for a drive on my B'day. Why? because I can, its fun, and if you havent felt a healthy V8 in a CJ, well then... So to all those who have this kind of an addiction, I salute you.

Now, with a case of pnuemonia maybe setting in, I kept it kinda short, but theres something about hitting redline on a country road and listening to the swampers sing thats good for the soul.
 
I don't own a CJ, but the last time I drove my buddies on an hour trip with the top off....rolling on a set of 36" swampers roaring and the exhaust humming as the wind whipped through...it was the quietest moments I'd had in a while. Why? cust I couldn't hear a kid or wife nagging or a friend telling me what they plan to do with their rig or work bitching....it was the loudest silence I've ever had and I miss the hell out of it. Happy bday. :beer:
 
ahhhh, so you 'get it'. trail rigs on the road have to be driven not riden in. therein lies the pleasure.
