I've bought plenty of the $15 parts store push/pull type over the years. They're all cheentsy and poorly constructed. Moisture gets inside and corrodes the contacts. I need something that's actually waterproof and I'm coming up empty handed. Should I look in the direction of say, heavy equipment?

Could you wire them on separate switches?

I like both elements on when switched to bright anyway.

I could if it came to it. Right now my current dash switch layout is pretty simple. 12v+ master kill switch hidden under the dash, 30a stainless toggle for fuel pump, push button start and everything else (gauges, headlights, radio) is controlled by a multifunction switch except for the turn signal which is an independently circuited entity.
I'd really like a decent dimmer switch to control radio illumination, headlight and gauge lighting. Kinda like mood lighting, but for hanging out in the woods. I had one, but it crapped out while I was driving one day in the rain. Car parts aren't waterproof.

Dang bro, I was thinking you meant headlamp dimmer.

I just ordered one of the above posted. Should be here today.
As much as I like the pull type, I guess they're not for what I'm doing.
