I have a 345v8 with a 4 barrel Edelbrock 1405 Carburetor on it.
The next thing I want to do for my build is get the heads rebuilt and the carb rebuilt:
I got some kind of a valve tap going on, it's definitely not a knock, but I don't have enough expertise do determine if it's a valve or a lifter off the top of my head. I'd like to just get them rebuilt, cause they probably need it.
The Carburetor I have has the manual choke snapped off, so I have idle problems when it's cold. Tries to die on me when I put it in Reverse or Drive, and it accelerates sloppy when I give it less than 50% or so on the pedal.
Anyhow, so what are some shops around this area that I can get my carb and heads rebuilt (And maybe a port & polish)?
Obviously they don't need to be the same shop, but it's fine if they're about an hour or so out from Fayetteville.
