Heaven has a new Angel

<Sigh> Chip Price, AKA @upnover is one of my closest friends. We talk everyday, nothing is off limits.
He helped me through one of my lifes biggest hurdles. A divorce. I leaned on him a lot and his support never wavered.
His Mom has been ill for a long time.
The call i got early this morning was classic.
She's gone. And at peace.
My friends are Badass.

praying for yall.

Have found out that a few of my wheeling friends are gonna come for Mom's funeral. Truly makes feel good to have the support. I washed my Suburban this morning, just so it will look a little better for the ride to the cemetary. Just because Mom would lie that.
Not looking forward to this at all

Well, it's done and over. I'd like to thank my close friends who came in support of me and my family.
@Paul Paul came all the way from Charlotte, very much appreciated. @BUCKEYE PERFORMANCE INC. Chris and Tanya came all the way from Swannanoa, @toymaker and his son n law Billy(who also just lost his dad), @redneck grrrl Lisa got off early from work in Hickory, @Rock Corps 4X4 who sent a beautiful potted plant! The support from Big Dixie Boggers, Rock Corps 4X4 and Carolina wheelers, was awesome. I have often said doing the wheelin thing as gained me more friends, long term friends, than anything I have ever done.

Hats off to the Morganton area folks. As our procession left the church, it was a long drive, from the outskirts of town, through the middle of town, and then over to the cemetery nestled in a very nice neighborhood. During this whole ride, hundreds of cars pulled over, and stopped as we passed. Only two passed us and they did so slowly! I could not believe the respect the the folks in Morganton give us. it just kinda WOWed me!

My brother works at SECU, nearly everyone he works with, came to pay respects. With so many gone, you'd think they had to close! But, no they didn't. Employees from other branches came in and covered for them! How's that for a place you work at, and how they went above and beyond, to support my brother. I thought that was just AWESOME.
