So Ive been trying to get this thing running right, to no avail. Heres the scoop. 6.0 genIII in a CJ with Jims harness/flash. Good fuel pressure, new O2's, new plugs/wires. Cranks immediately, runs ok, stumbles a bit but once in a while it will all but stall when coming to a stop. Wont take gas either, well it accelerates but not well. Seems to run rich. No codes either. Cant seem to find any vacuum leaks. Dont know where to go from here but have it hooked up in town. Anything else that I can do? I am intereseted in knowing what 02 wire color is to see if I have them hooked to the correct bank. Jim marked one 'driver' but anybody can make a mistake. I am at wits end with this thing.
See everybody at the race!!

Does the 6.0 have an EGR valve? That 4.3 I had stalled when coming to a stop, and it was because the EGR valve was stuck.

Bad tps will do some of those things.

yeah, Ive had 2 units on it. Ive been swapping known good sensors off a neighbors truck.

yeah, hes cool with it. weve spent days swapping crap and looking at his to figure this out.

ok, so I took my spare MAF and took the screen out for shits and giggles since I thought it was dead - just to see what makes it 'tick'. Turns out there is a sidewall port that was hiding behind the screen that air runs into a channel in the body of the sensor to get air temp (I guess as this has an integrated air temp sensor). I could then spray into that port and all kinds of black junk came out. Replaced the 'known good' unit with this cleaned/unscreened one and it runs great. I used RC car electric motor spray = contact cleaner and let it dry, didnt use brake cleaner. So far it seems happy.
