I need inner & outer wheel bearings for a M35A3 Rockwell axle. Apparently the A3 model used a modified spindle for the CTIS (Central Tire Inflation System) & the bearings are not readily available like A2 model ones are (& they cost more). So, I need the forums help to get my "KRAKEN" build rolling again. Does any body know some one with a Timken account (or do you have an account), any body in National Guard Armory that could order me some, or does any body know of a place that would have them (preferably not a leg & an arm)? Any help would be great?
Part #'s are:
395WE (consisting of 395WE cone & 393CE race )inner bearing
392E (consisting of 392E cone & 392OC race) outer bearing

Did you try this guy? Or the other links in the rock thread?

I'll try and find some other links. Found some at Timken Store but don't know if you have to be a business or buy in bulk?

Just wondering though, you couldn't go back in with the M35A2 race and bearing? Is the spindle and hub that much different? Always heard that an M35A3 was a reworked A2 - CTIS/Auto Trans/Engine and other odds and ends.

Yeah, the seal surface on rear axle was machined off & a new seal surface looks to be welded in the spindle. I saw the TIMKEN store but I don't have an account. My work does so I'm also trying that route, but there anal about getting employees parts.

Oh yeah, Eriksmilitarysurplus wants $980 for one inner bearing.

$980 - WOW, he actually said that. He had to mean that was for all 3 axles on a Deuce.

Nope, that's for just one bearing. George @ whiteowl said last time he priced an inner & outer for the A3 was $1500 (just one hub mind you), that was last year. He's seeing if the price has changed. Thiers a place in Germany that has them for 45 EURO ($67+/-) weird as to why? Probably going to change spindles out in front to A2 style then one hub will cost a whopping $80. The rear has me at a conundrum.
