The vehicle is a 02 nissan frontier.
Today four studs broke off my front left hub while I was driving down a busy road in Greensboro. I had someone bring me the studs and I was going to change them right there on the side of the road but ran into a problem. Here is what I did, I removed the 6 bolts holding the hub to the rotor. Then I pulled the 6 allen bolts and removed the outer hub assembly. Then I removed the c-clip. Now I see what looks like a round nut with 4 slots in it. It looks like it requires a special wrench to turn and I dont have one. I went to advance auto, napa, nissan dealership and nobody had what I need. Now the truck is sitting on the side of a busy road with all my tools in it and I dont know what else to do. Does anyone have any ideas for getting off the nut or know where I can find the wrench I need? Please give me a call at 336-456-3929 if you can help, I really dont want to leave my truck there tonight. I have pictures of the nut Im talking about on my phone but cant post them. I can text them to anyone that wants to see though.
