Help wanted... Warn 8274 motor reassembly

I figured it out! The end cap pops off, making the motor easy to reinstall.

Years ago we called Warn while working on a old Hydro winch from a military truck. I think we were fucking up the valving or something and the representative ended up emailing us schematics and teardown instructions . If I remember correctly it was the Australian based hub. you can try them.

If you are doing what I think you are, you can use a couple of straightened out paper clips or shim stock to hold the brushes while you put it back together.

I was able to pop the back cover off. Problem solved!
