I've got a PSC full hydro setup and a newer style GM hydroboost. My res came with 2 ports so my question is where do you plumb in the hydroboost? Does it get a tee in the pressure line? My PSC pump only has one pressure port. Anyone with any experince let me know your thoughts.

You need to plumb the pressure from the pump through the hydro-boost then to your oribital.

So... Pressure straight from the pump to the Hydro-boost... then straight from hydro-boost to orbital? basically in series? No wye fitting or anything...

I don't know what "wye fittings are.

Yes, you may need to have you hydro boost flow ported may not. Modify the flow valve in your pump also.

Your other option is using a 5 port oribital, using the Aux. port to power the hydro boost.

When I was referring to a wye "y" as maybe splitting the pressure from the pump into two seperate lines (1) for the hydro boost and (1) for the orbital... But that really doesnt make any sense... so chalk that up to newb full hydro stupitidy...

I believe it's gotta be:

1. PUMP (pressure out to Hydroboost in)
2. Hydroboost (Pressure out to Orbital Pressure in)

ACTUALLY... I think this answers the question:

Yep thats it.

The "y" or "t" wouldnt help you unless it was a flow divider. If it was just a "y" the oil would flow to the weakest point & there would be no pressure to one or the other.

didnt the doc tell you yesterday not to be working on the Jeep??

get your ass back in the hammock and throw the ball for Peanut or your recovery will be loooooonger

Jeff. What kind of oridital do you have? All my stuff is PSC. They say run it just like you did but didn't mention porting the hydrobooster. They said a PSC high performance pump wouldn't even know it was there. Thanks for the help looks like that's the way to go for me.

Mine is special to a application on road construction equipment.

it's a Parker built in relief @ 1750 5 port 7.25cu.

I can get you one pm me if your interested.
