Prepare people. I don't know how many of you were around the last "storm" but it doesn't take but about an inch or two in north carolina to make people go crazy (THATS WHAT SHE SAID!).

I'd just watch the situation for all you commuters

It snowed here just the other night and I found it hilarious that everyone here STILL freaks out when it even flurries. Having lived in PA and seen/driven in real snow (but still a small amount compared to other places) it was quite entertaining to see people driving 10-20MPH under the speed limit on simply wet roads!!!

I've got 80 loaves of bread and 57 gallons of milk if anybody wants to buy it off of me. I stocked up because when it snows, I love to eat bread and drink milk.

Why don't the stores sell out of coke and frozen pizza or easy mac?

Several years ago it snowed and I didn't go to work. All my coworkers called and harassed me because they all drove in to work in their 2WD cars and I have 3 jeeps and didn't go in. My response..."how many of you got some this morning?":bounce2: They never again questioned me when I didn't drive my jeep thru the snow to get to work.

When they cancel school the day BEFORE the flurries get here its just stupid, and half the time nothing shows up:shaking:

:lol::beer:

What I really don't get is how Raleigh has turned into the souths haven for relocated yankees not a freaking one of them can drive. If it snows 2+" I probably won't get in tomorrow just for the chances of getting hit on my commute.

Are you also posting on the N&O? lol

What I can't figure is why people get bread in milk. Why not Slim Jims?

everyone at work wants me to pic em up in the jeep. :D so i told them $20 each and i'll do it. stupid bmw and civic drivers hahahaha

Tomorrow will be a good time to drive around and pull people out of ditches... :)

I love snow, its profiting!

Having lived in Montana, I find this whole "Southern Snow-Panic" rather hilarious.
I just put the two strap in the truck (F-350 4x4 Dually), I am sure I'll use it in the morning on my way to work, because some ":driver:" will be in the ditch.

becuase some ":driver:" will be in the ditch.

past experiance shows it WILL be more than "SOME" there will be many, "SOME" collected in a few areas

I miss my 4 Runners for this very reason, guess we'll see how my GMC does, I've never driven it more than 40-50 foot in 4x4 since I've owned it.

And my past experience is that MANY of the collected will be the "experienced" yankees... flying around to show the "slow" locals how it's done!

oh boy, Looks like lowes is outta ice melt.. and not getting anymore any time soon. Looks like we will get booked again (which is good). BTW I hate snow driving

Went to the local NAPA today to get some tail lights for my truck I walk in and everyone in there is all up in the air about the snow buying deicer, snow shovels, sleds, tire chains, you name it they were buying it. Boy some people get stupid over the thought of snow. You talk about the people that cant drive in the snow hell the cant drive when the roads are dry. INSTANT IDIOTS JUST ADD WATER:shaking:
