at least it isnt blue...

Run it on Monster Jam with the big boys and I might get impressed. Otherwise it may as well be a TJ on 33's.

The association wanted too much exclusivity and Chandler didn't want to give up as much rights to the trucks as was being dictated. He still competes with Snake Bite and does some other sanctioned and exhibition events.

They couldn't stick with a sponsor that's actually making money, huh?

Without competing in any big competitions, I don't see how Bigfoot was making Ford any money...so it was just a natural progression for GM to pick a losing bet.

Thats great looking... Does seem wrong though.

HAHAHAHA, we have a winner!

.

Dennis gave up his rights and seems to have cashed in big time with the monster jam people. They seem to sell out lots of large venues, I think I would've given up some rights to make the $$$$$ and keep the show rolling.

That blows. I saw the original in Orlando when I was a kid. It's not Bigfoot without a Blue Oval imho!

there was a big conflict between dennis and bob chandler way back in the day. bob wanted monster truck racing to be more like nascar and dennis wanted it to be like pro wrestling!

we saw bigfoot back in lima at a 4wheel jamboree and let me tell you when get these big trucks outdoors they really fly! :wheel:

no he was saying dennis anderson gave up the rights to digger and has done well for himself...

No one was gonna pay to go see monster trucks in sled pulls and hill climbs and mud bogs and car crushes..they only wanted car crushes...

Just because he's popular doesn't mean he's making any more money than any of the other trucks. Sure you have performance based incentives and endorsements, but anyone is eligible for that. Bigfoot still travels some of the smaller circuits and exhibition events, and all that money goes right in to Chandler's pocket.

monster jam don pay out based on performance..they pay appearance fees and you keep your share of the merch sales....

I think digger gets 50k to appear 250k if dennis tags along...per night

Damn...you're just schooling me tonight. But what I meant performance based was, if you're good...you can get the same pay out as Dennis, so there's nothing differentiating him/his truck from the rest of the field because in theory everyone could potentially make what Dennis does.
