Why is it that no one in this entire damn state knows WTF to do when they're confronted with a 4-way stop?
 
Because so many people think they're supposed to have Right Of Way no matter who else is around?
 
I say F#@k it and go right down the middle, and while we are on it you know what rely makes me mad is when im going south on HWY 17 in my work vehicle. On my way home after a 12 hour shift , and I get behind some one and they slow down and want get the F#@k over so I can go about my way. MOVE OVER IT’S THE LAW ! Im done know. Sorry .:flipoff2: :beer:
 
And why, please someone tell me why, do people insist on waiting until cars already going 50 mph are within 100 feet to make a right turn in front of them and go 30? Or less?

Nah, I like the silly fawks that have right-of-way, but sit there waving everyone else through.

anytime im not in a rush..i have the best luck on the road

If im late for work, school, or anything important i get stuck behind the old lady in the crown vic thats slows down half a mile before she has to turn
 
I know that in drivers Ed they taught us the person to your right and so on, but...........With the idiots they allow a DL these days I don't always go by that. I have been one of the that will wave people through, but with good reason. Depending on what I am driving, I may not be able to move fast enough to get out of the way of someone not paying attention. If I can't get eye contact, then I won't pull out, they are the ones that will pull out without looking. I used to drive for a living, so I have go used to the idiots, and happy to say, never got hit by one using my methods.
 
The rule is that whoever gets to it first goes first. If two people get there at the same time, car on the right has the right of way.

ive been late for school a few times because of this girl who drives a 4Runner (probably late 90's early 00's) and drives slow as everything. She never switches lanes and just stays in the left the whole way down 321 until we get to South Caldwell :mad:

I also get stuck behind another girl at my school (or rather in front of her!) shes so insane and horrible at driving. She pulled up literally inches from my rear bumper and laughed when i freaked out. THen she was all the way on the other side of the road in someones yard. I wrote her a pretty nasty note and stuck it under her windshield wipers haha

I cuss that section of road at least once a week. All the way from the river to Lenoir is the worst drive. Everyone is either going 20 or 65 :mad:

yea it sucks, most of the time im at 70 or higher because im trying to get to school...

what sucks is the MDI trucks hog the right, and people dont want to be behind them, but when the switch to the left they end up going the same speed as the trucks! Cops dont generally care on that stretch either, unless its late at night and your going considerably over..

Watch out for the road in front of the granite rec. center though, hold at 35 or they will bust you (for that matter the road in front of the Elementary school is bad too..)
 
you know what i want to know!?! Why some people like to put GRAFFITTI ALL OVER MY FRESHLY PAINTED WAREHOUSE only two weeks after i painted it!!!!!!! :mad: I freakin hate that crap!! forget drivers, as far as i am concerned i'm the best damned driver on the road. when everyone hesitates at the 4 way i say fckit and go, the other person always stops before they hit me. stupid exams and graffitti and body shops have gotten me all wired up!

If I were in a car and had a BIG truck across from me I think I would rather give them the wave ahead than seeing how a compact fits under a DZL(not that I'm ever in a car but I get it often):flipoff2: :driver: :lol: :beer:

No but seriously the big tires thing works. Especially on a full size truck. If people wont move forward/back enough for me to switch lanes then i just slowely start easing over to that side of my lane....than onto the white line...then into their lane, and its about then that my 37's manage to sweet talk them into slowing down or speeding up so i can get over (or so my tires dont shred the paint and quarter panels off of their ricers:flipoff2: )

For the same reason there are billboards in Mexico saying come to NC to get yer Drivers License...

As long as you can see and have the money you get yer DL!

I just had to re-up my DL and watched as an older lady was turned down for failing the eye test.....then watched as the DOT idjit coached another thru the sighs....he actually missed them all and still got his DL!
